Tatanka Oyate Holdings (Tatanka) is an investment development company that is fully owned by the Wahpeton Dakota Nation, which is a First Nation government living the Oceti Sakowin, oh-CHEH-tee suh-KOH-win, (Seven Council Fires) Dakota Wichohan, wee-CHOH-hahn, (Way of Living) traditions. Our core values are unity, collaboration, equity, respect for Mother Earth, alignment with spirituality, and a strong commitment to cultural preservation and revitalization. 

Our mission is to build wealth that enriches the lives of all individuals, with a specific focus on growing businesses guided by the principles of nature, biodiversity, and regenerative practices. Our aim is to serve Indigenous values, support local economies, and have a positive global impact.

MATO Industrial Construction

Tatanka is a majority partner of MATO Industrial Construction with Three0six Industrial. MATO offers fully integrated services in the mining, paper and pulp, energy, and ag-industrial sectors. Currently, MATO is collaborating with SaskPower to manage vegetation along power lines, ensuring a consistent and dependable power supply to communities throughout Saskatchewan. Moving forward, our goal is to actively pursue opportunities that enable us to incorporate nature-based regenerative practices into our operations, aligning with our commitment to the earth and meaningful partnerships.
